I filed my taxes for the 2007 year in February. I already received my return. I have two unclaimed jobs that I would like to use as deductions or whatnot. How do I go about doing this? I went to HRBlock to get my taxes filed. Do I need to go back there and explain to them what happened? That I was a bit impatient that my W2’s didn’t come until 2 weeks after the deadline. . . ? So What can I do?

Hello, i am thinking of investing into a friends company that has been setup and been operating for a couple years. I was wondering, how should I invest, such as. . .
Should I invest as an individual?
or should I invest as a holdings company (which I would have to setup?)
And what are the benefits between the two?
Hopefully someone can suggest and help with my situation.
Thanks in advance.

For an assignment, we have to play a virtual stock exchange game. I was wondering, what stocks should I buy? Do you know of any small and new(ish) companies I should go for?

I live in Mississippi and I work in Louisiana. All my state taxes are for Louisiana. I recall a couple of years ago that my tax lady said since I did not work in MS and I did not have deductions or anything that I do not have to file for MS. Is this still true? Because when I e-filed with turbo tax, it told me i had to pay MS taxes of $145. Why the heck would I have to pay state taxes for MS when I pay it all year long on all my purchases?

This is by no means a real investment, but it is a competition however, and our teacher said we could use our resources to research stocks. So I figured I would try and get the opinions of some possible professionals. . . Thank you for your suggestions!
